Odds of another Union?

Having just seen ARW, it occurs to me to wonder about the chances of another Union. Mostly, it'd be interesting in terms of a tour. (Kind of have doubts about any profit potential in new material - it'd have to be artistic desire driving any effort there, I'd guess.)

I think that the primary chances of such a thing happening would come from the chance of getting another good paycheck for the guys. Some not needing it terribly much, others perhaps wanting such a paycheck more.

Could Steve abide taking the stage with Trevor again?
Has there been a bit of bridge burning between Steve and Jon?
Would Trevor be sufficiently motivated, or is ARW just a nostalgic reliving of the rockstar's past life?

Well, back in the days when AMY was still a going concern, I predicted a Re-Union tour many times, and was regularly blasted for not knowing all the reasons why this would never happen.
Well, I still believe it will. The music demands it. "leave good footprints behind"

I'd really doubt it. Depends on how the R&R Hall of Fame show goes. _Rough_ guess is that both bands are attracting _approximately_ equal crowds, with the _unsubstantiated_ conclusion that ARW is getting higher ticket prices.

With the animosity between Steve and Jon, and Jon dismissing "Yes" as Steve's cover band (hmm.... I had once read that Alan White was the only Yes member to show up at Jon's wedding)..... I'd say NO.

Geoff Downes, sure, no Rick, but hell of a better writer. Billy Sherwood? OK Jon, remember, Chris is R.I.P.
Jon seems to have left Yes as many times as Rick. Alan? Yeh, right, he's the "new guy" and the "old guy" is _retired_. (Someone seems to have managed their money well).

Uh, OK, competing singer. Lot's of BS as to what songs will or will not be played. (I heard that Rick refused to play anything off of Talk. Is that because they didn't offer him enough to play on it? -- true story "managerial differences"..... decipher that....)

I'm disappointed in how little Trevor era material was played on the ARW tour.

I'd rather hear a new "Fly from Here" and some occasional EP releases from ARW. They've been working on new material for what........ 8 or more years now?

I'd say the same of Yes. Do as Steve seems to want. Sit down together. Thrash out a song. Include it on the following tour.

Nothing but a promoter's ploy. But, who am I to know.
