I found it somewhat amusing that ticketmaster had been promoting the show as Jon Anderson. Recently added "Anderson, Rabin, and Wakeman", and below that (ARW).
I can understand marketing, but I think that the should have started with Anderson/Rabin/Wakeman. I would think that the mention of "Wakeman" would have elicited positive sales.
Seems like an awful lot of tickets -- most of the house IMHO -- are still available for the Oakdale Theater for which I have tickets. I could imagine a stiff ticket price for smaller venues, thinking that the guarantee for the band would be "solid".
Anyway, I do think it will be a great show. Not dissing Jon, who's voice seems to be back on the Ronnie project, but I've always loved Rabin's voice and respected his guitar playing. The interaction with Rick will be interesting.
I'm curious as to the "new versions". Also wondering if Trevor will play keyboards with Rick at any point.
