My Usenet account is long gone, and it took this long to find a good interactive Web way to get at "who knew people are still there at all!" AMY.

My taste for Yes is....waiting for the next reunion project.....in hibernation....gone....?

I'm like a non-practising believer. My mind tells me the music is the same, the statements remain, but my heart doesn't push me to take time to listen.

One big series of concerts, in one place (?) with all the main players and composers as possible -has to be Jon and Rick, and Trevor should be there-, to honour, further create, and justify the Yes legend. Big press, "make it work" musically...just do it!

I don't dream of an album...(although that would be a nice dream)....but just to get the players who *recorded* the material to *perform* it is be what is needed. It's not a showbiz thing, it's a "leave good footprints behind" thing.

Egos would have to be overcome...my guess is that Steve has completely had enough of Jon....Management could help by solving problems in advance.

Yes is too big a deal for them to wreck their legacy this way. Time is running out....They should be go down beside the Beatles and Beethoven, not Styx and Journey.

Even me....... when Yes had just recorded Fly From Here and they played the single track only on a joint tour with Styx......

Styx blew them away. That "new" singer/keyboardist is a true showman.

That would be Larry Gowan, from Oakville Canada, of whom this listener (from Windsor Canada) has all his albums. Big fan, no need for Styx connection.
His hit, "Strange Animal" featured Jon Anderson on backing vocals.
He's as talented as any of the "big name" original stars...and my brother has played hockey with him!
