than he used to = idea: more bass solos!

And how does this fit in with "ELP legacy"?
Simon's solos usually feature a classic rock oldie. There were "Bohemian
Rhapsody," "Stairway To Heaven," and "Roundabout" to choose from. Since
this is alt.music.yes, I chose to feature "Roundabout."

But if you have some need for him to fit in with "ELP Legacy", here's
his bass solo of "Take A Pebble"...
