Lots about Kickstarter, their collaboration, etc.

From the interview:

"We're not just going to go there and [do a] play-our-hits sort of thing," Anderson, the former Yes frontman, tells Aspenbeat host Andrea Young. "No, we want to recreate our music, redesign it, make it just sound better than ever." -
and this part didn't make it online (unrecorded, deleted or blatantly made up by me) from the interview:

"We thought about playing Cosmic Messenger and Olias of Sunhillow. You know, just replicate a couple great old albums. But that is so yesterday. Why not be bold, be creative, do something new with old tunes and write good new songs?," asked Jon Anderson.

Upon hearing this, Chris Squire belched, Steve Howe cringed and Alan White said, "I can't keep up with Jon anymore." Meanwhile, Geoff Downes blog bloviated and Jon Davison said, "Makes sense to me."

This gave me a smile. :) I hope the show will be as good on DVD (and hopefully Blu-Ray?) as I hear it was live.

Me too, I am supposed to get a copy with my meet and greet ticket but we'll see. These things tend to be full of missteps and mistakes. The concert was fabulous. Good for Jon and Jean-Luc to get together, do something new and with energy at almost 70 and 72 years of age.
