Pretty sure I heard HOTS from Progeny on Sirius today. Sounded pretty good. You could easily hear the playing differences in every instrument. Got me excited, can't wait for the release...

So, it's the same overplayed tracks from the same overplayed albums by the same over-represented members of the band?

As we used to say around here: "No intrst."

Give me a box set of complete shows from the Bruford-era, the Moraz-era, or the Horn-era, then you can take my money, depleted nostalgia act known as Yes.

And while I'm at it, where's that Masterworks Tour live release that was talked about ages ago?

I ordered the Vinyl "Highlights" Progeny package. For years I have wished they would re-release Yessongs on Vinyl. Also for years I have wished they could find the source tapes for Yessongs and see if they could improve the sound a bit. This product seems to be somewhat close to what I have been wanting, some quality recordings of the band on wax from when they really rocked. I was a fan of Yes before Yessongs, but did not see them live until after I heard Yessongs. That record made me realize they were a powerful band and I had to see them. I still love that record and hope Progeny brings that same power with perhaps greater clarity. Plus, I prefer the tunes played at the faster pace they were doing back then.
