Well there is a little bit of video up from this recent event.

Carl Palmer did perform a nice solo, but also played some ELP material with Jordan Rudess and Rudy Sarzo, a bit of which is seen here:

Jon Anderson also performed, but it does not seem that he "plugged in" and played with others, with the exception of Carl Palmer hitting the tambourine for a bit while Jon strummed. Same stuff - the reggae-esque version of "Time and a Word" etc.

Here is a clip of JA at the event. Seems his opening bit is the melody from "New Language", with different lyrics. These lyrics may be spontaneous but the same words he is frequently throwing out in interviews and other songs "keeping the garden" etc etc etc

That opening bit is an excerpt from "Please To Remember," the 2nd
movement of "Open" (the 21-minute piece released digitally in 2011.) It
is, as you describe, a re-setting of the melody line from "New Language."

I like how Palmer switches tempo three times before the tune is barely underway...very "adventurous".
