Now that Chris is gone...they get the praise. Which YES was inducted? It better be Jon Anderson's YES. Liberty is what the old YES stands for. At least the R&R Hall now has one majestic band on that list of theirs. Amen to Jon's YES.
There's a LOT of great bands and musicians in the R&R hall of fame, Chet! The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Leonard Cohen, Patti Smith, Jefferson Airplane, The Velvet Underground, Joni Mitchell, The Grateful Dead... Many more... ☺️

Whatever. YES was too controversial to put them up front. Don't want it to look like any hippies were intellects. Gotta keep it a secret. ....til they're too old to play AWAKEN. The world didn't awaken...obviously. Could have used more awakened people.....but the R&R Hall made a joke out of *FAME*. At this point I think they should include everybody who ever sold an album at all.

OK, now I saw the list. So I guess Geoff Downes, Peter Banks and Patrick Moraz are the possible snubs, if any.

I think Banks should have been inducted. He was instrumental in shaping early music which eventually lead to the success. I am not sure about Moraz. He had minimal contributions in one album. I am not sure any of the band memebers who joined post Going For the One deserve it. Rabin is somewhat lucky to be inducted.

I only learned of it in the early hours of Christmas when I checked my email. Felt like a first Christmas present. I'd voted so they sent the inductees list. Even ol' Southside 'came alive'... well 3 or 4 people posted.
